May. 10th, 2009 08:34 pmBeen forgetting I even had this thing lately. Guess I been a little distracted lately. Days seem to all blend together.
Got a couple projects I've been workin' on - Scout, you'll be pleased to see this, finally put the finishing touches on 'er this afternoon:
Turned out to be easiest for our purposes to keep the design specs and body casing largely the same, so I just took an old blueprint I found hangin' around here and modified it a bit. Designed to deliver nonlethal payloads of rubber pellets at 70 m/s, at a rate of about 2 shots a second, so it oughta be enough to scare any animals away. She'll open fire on anything below waist-height that's movin' at a given velocity. Even on the off-chance the calculations turn out to be a little screwy, all this oughta do to a human being is give 'em a couple welts, if that.
So yeah, try her out, see how that works... gotta say, I had fun designin' it either way.
Other'n that, I haven't got much to report - Pyro, I gotta apologize, I completely forgot about that receiver you gave me until the other day I stuck my hand in my pocket and there it was. Kinda been avoiding it, to tell the truth, on account of it bein' so long since I've worked on a device like it. By the end of this week though, I oughta have it looked at, promise.
